Alkaline Earth Metal Complexes : Mixed Ligand Complexes of Alkaline Earth Metal Derivatives of Hydroxyquinones With 1,10-Phenanthroline

A number of mixed ligand complexes have been synthesized by the Interaction of alkaline earth metal derivatives of 3-hydroxy -2-methyl-1, 4-naphthaqunone (Thiocol) and 5-hydroxyl-1,4-naphthaquinone (Juglone) with 1,10-Phenanthroline. The prepared complexes have been characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, conductance and infrared spectroscopy.
