An attempt has been made to assess the quality of air of Bhopal city through certain common pollutants present in the air which causes toxic effects on the human and his environment. To evolve and implement effective control strategy for this increasing pollution in Bhopal, ambient air monitoring is carried out at various places in peak hours. The analytical work is carried out at UV-VIS spectrophotometer and sometimes on colonmeter. High volume Air-sampler is used for air monitoring studies.
