Trinuclear metal complexes of divalent cobalt, nickel and copper have been prepared with an octadentate ligand having O, N- N, N -N, O donor atoms. The Cobalt (II) and nickel (II) complexes are found to be octahedral whereas the copper (II) complex is suggested to have a distorted octahedral geometry. The characterisation is made basing upon analytical, conductances, magnetic susceptibility, i.r and electronic spectral data.
