In the present investigations mainly two hydrolysed products viz. methylemine and 1,3 dimethyeurea are considered, looking to the nature of chemicals and their properties, the present study was carried out in vitro using representative soil and water of Bhopal under rendomised block design. The toxicity data was generated on commonly available sensitive fish guppy i.e. Poecilia reticulata in upper lake of Bhopal. It was observed that the percent mortality varied from 20 to 90% from 24 hrs. to 96 hrs. LD 50 observed in 48 hrs. having methyiamne concentration 0.360 g/10 litres. Dimethylurea has not shown any toxicity upto 25.12 g/10 litres upto 96 hrs. R was observed that still higher concentration may show mortality.
