A series of octahedral complexes of the type 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 (M:L.) witlte Mannich bases have been synthesised and characterized on the basts of analytical, conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR anp electronic spectral data. IR spectra suggests carbonyl and phenolic oxygen and imino nitrogen as bonding sites.
