Fungicidal Activity of Benzohydroxamic Acid

Aryloxyacetohydroxamic acids are new group of chemical fungicides* which do not contain heavy metals. Benzohydroxamic acid was prepared and sreened for its antifungal activity against Colletotrichum capsici, Aspergillus, etc. and Bacteria. Effect of different concentrations of hydroxamix acid on the growth of fungus in vitro have been studied. Different medium have been taken as require for organism for their maximum growth.
