Oscillatory behaviour of Ce (IV) catalysed KCrO§ - glycollie acid (GA) reaction in aqueous sulphuric acid solutions has been discussed. Reproducibility of chemical waves has been established in the system by conducting the reaction in Teflon beaker as reaction vessel. Characteristics of chemical waves Viz., time of initiation (Tt), time period (Tp ), life time (T1 ) amplitude (A) and number of Oscillations (n) have been evaluated as a function of (Reactant) and discussed.
