Solubilities and Free Energies of Interaction of Ph4C and Ph4Ge in Mixed Cyclohexane-Toulene Solvents

From the experimental solubility measurments of Ph4 C (tetraphenyl-methane and Ph4 Ge (tetraphenyl-germanium) in mixed cyclohexane-toulene solvents, the free energies of interaction and excess free energies have been estimated. It was found that the maximum values of free energies of interaction for both Ph4 C & Ph4 Ge lie in the range of X1 (mole fraction of cyclohexane) between 0.5 and 0.6.
