Spectrophotometric Determination of Nickel With 3-Hydroxy-3-Isoproyl-1-P-Tolyl Triazene

Preparation of 3-Hydroxy-3-isopropyl-1 -p-tolyl triazene has been reported by Purohit and Gotwalkar and it has been used for the spectrophotometric2 and the complexometric3 determination of iron. Its I.R. study4 and determination of its pk values5 has also been reported. The present communication deads with spectrophotometric determination of nickel with this reagent.
