Aflatoxins contamination in some marmalades samples collected from the market of Delhi, have been investigated. The study was carried out on 12 marmalade samples of each apple, amla and carrot. The maximum contamination of B1, B2, G1 was found .to be 1678,161,80 ppb in apple and 940,240,138 ppb in amla respectively. In carrot marmalades only B, was detected with maximum level of 130 ppb. The study has indicated the requirement of prescreening before processing of raw products for aflatoxin presence and careful hygenic selling practices so that the chances of contamination by aflatoxins could be minimised in product.
