Two complexes of type [Cu2](macrocycle)] where macrocycles, so called " expanded porphyrins m have been synthesized, and their properties investigated. Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectra indicate copper(ll)-porphyrin interaction which is observed at about 3300 G. The observation of mass spectra show a binuclear copper(ll) complexes.
