Complex formation between Cu(ll), Ni(ll), and Co(ll) metal ions with methyl [-1-Phenyl-3-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)pyrazole-5-]-carboxylate (ligandl), 2-[3'-(2"-Hydroxy-5"-methylphenyl pyrazol-5'-yl)]-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thia diazole (ligand 2) and 2-[3"-Hydroxy-5"-methyl phenyl pyrazol'5"-yl)]-5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole (ligand 3) in 70% Ethanol-water mixture has been investigated pH metrically. It showed the formation of 1:1 and 1:2 complexes in the pH range of 2.5 to 5.5. The value of pk {proton-ligand stability constants) and log k (metal-ligand stability constants) at 0.1 M ionic strength and 27± 0.1 °C are calculated
KEYWORDS:diazole (ligand; stability
