5-Chloro-2,4-Dihydroxy Butyrophenone oxime (CDHBO) has been successfully employed as a reagent for spectrophotometric determination for Mn(II) at pH range 7.0 to 11.0 in chloroform medium. The composition of the complex 1:2 (metal:ligand) has been confirm by job.
