ABSTRACT:

Thorium (IV) complexes have been prepared by reacting Thorium (IV) chloride and 3-aminomethyl- 4-amino-5-mercapto-1.2,4-Triazole schiff base in alcoholic media These complexes are of the type ML.CI2 .The complexes have been characterised by spectral studies.Thorium (IV) exhibits coordination number of six in these complexes
