A Convenient Procedure for the Reduction of Aminoacids Using Tetrabutylammonium Fluoride and Polymethylhydrosiloxane

A range of aminoacids have been converted efficiently to the corresponding alcohols with polymethylhydrosiloxane, PMHS, in the presence of catalytic tetrabutylammonium fluoride, TBAF.
