The photocatalytic degradation of isoproturon 3-(4-isopropylphenyl)-1,1dimethylurea (IP) was studied, using TiO2 photocatalysts (Degussa P25 and Millennium PC50, PC100, PC105 and PC500). Kinetics of oxidative photodegradation of Isoproturon in heterogenous suspensions of different TiO2 were investigated and compared. The initial rate of photodegradation was studied as a function of the initial concentration of reactants by the linearised form of the Langmuir-Hinshelwood equation. The effect of photocatalyst concentration on the disappearance kinetics of isoproturon has been investigated. The primary degradation of the Isoproturon was measured by HPLC analysis. The photocatalytic degradation of isoproturon was studied at several pH. The rate of phototransformation was found to increase as the pH was increased. The phototransformation of isoproturon is enhanced by the addition of small amounts of H2O2. The degradation rate of isoproturon varied in the order: PC50
