A Tetrahydroxy Flavone from Duranta Repens

Duranta repens is an important part of indigenous system of medicine, commonly used for the treatment of malaria, diabetes and stomachic disorders.Various phytochemicals along with oleanolic acid, ursolic acid b-sitosterol and flavones have been reported. In the present study, we are reporting the isolation of tetrahydroxy flavone.
