Complexes of 3-{4’-pyridyl}-4- phenyl –tetrazoline-5-thione have been prepared with oxo-cations VO2+, ZrO2+, MoO2,WO2+2, and characterized using various physico- chemical methods such as micro analytical ,conductometric magnetic movement Infra red, UV and visible Specro scopic data. The ligand interacts with its thion tautomeric form with ZrO2+ and MoO22+ and thiol with WO2+ but both thiol –thione form with VO2+ ion. Infrared spectra suggests the presence of MoO2 and cis-WO2 structure in the tentative octahedral configuration.
