High Throughput Screening (HTS) is a new, an important tool in drug discovery process. The general strategy is to screen a vast collection of chemical compound libraries in the hope to discover a new lead. This brief review presents the current strategies of HTS and some of the application in drug discovery. This method saves the time and cost associated with the drug discovery.
KEYWORDS:HTS method; cell based assays; HTS techniques protocol
