A series of new macrocyclic compounds containing carbonyl groups have been prepared by treatind di-n-butyltin (IV) dicarboxylates of imminodiacetic acid, pyridine dicarboxylic acid, imminodiacetic acid, and oxodiacetic acid with succinyl and sebacoyl dichlorides. The compounds have been characterized with the help of elemental analysis and spectral data (IR, 1H 13C NMR).
