A of complexes of ethylenethiourea and benzimidazole-2 thione using Hg(I), Pb(II) and Bi(III) as central cations have been prepared and characterised on the basis of microanalytical, conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, electronics and infrared spectral studies. Their tentative structure have also been suggested on the basis of physico-chemical methods. Metal ligand stretching frequencies have also been assigned.
