The synthesis and characterization of a new high spin iron (III) complex containing imidazolidine nitroxyl free radical ligand are described. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, ESR, IR and magnetic susceptiblity. The complex was also found to portray different colours in various solvents - a characteristic of certain charge transfer complexes.
