ABSTRACT:

Assignments of IR-spectral bands in case of tetra and penta substituted 2'/4'-hydroxyacetophenones have been made. O-H stretch, C=O stretch, C=C stretch, O-H deformation and C-O stretching vibrations have been discussed.
